Hidden Cost Success Story

Recently a colleague of mine ran a print assessment for a business in Connecticut with 60 color laser printers deployed at multiple locations. He found that these printers had an average use of 4,120 color printsper month and an average cost of $781 each for supplies monthly. Plus the client was processing on average 72 invoices monthly for the supplies that where required for these printers.

The new solution was to upgrade these old machines to new Xerox printers and gave the client a new cost basis of $495 per unit AND only ONE invoice per month. Over a 12 month period this solution represents a hard cost return to the bottomline of over $205,000! The client had no idea they where wasting that much money.
